The "cheeks" on a horse bit are those two pieces of metal you see in the picture, we also offer this same gag without the cheeks. Either way, it is a long-wearable gag, because it does not interfere with breathing in any way. Both units are available in either the basic single strap, or the three strap, with the added over the head and under the jaw straps. Keeps the gag in place, and the mouth biting down. Solid rubber bit with a steel cable inside. Metal sides.
