What's RSS?

There are tons (or is that "is tons", no, I think because tons is plural... but I digress) of information on RSS feeds on the internet, and I am not going to give you a long story here, just a layman's (mine) overview.

Think of RSS as an automated delivery of web pages, or email. You subscribe to a feed by telling your RSS reader to keep itself up to date on a specific feed (hopefully, ours is one of them). When we update our feed, like we do when we put out a new release, your reader automatically gets that feed (you can set it to check in certain time intervals, or only when you start the program).

It is actually better than the email list we keep as we can send you nice pretty pages with pictures and words and songs and music (OK - no songs and music). The links to specific items can be clicked upon and still within your reader you will see the page referenced in the feed.

What software? Well, most browsers, and even some email programs support RSS. Just check the help section of yours. Didn't find anything? Just type ":RSS reader" into your favorite search engine for a ton of suggestions.
