Slide one AA battery into the top, slide the sound down in, and then tighten the cap and the vibrations kick in. This is one really special feeling! The unit can be cleaned by either wiping or immersing the "business" end in alcohol. You cannot autoclave or boil this unit.10 1/2" overall, with an insertion length of 4 1/2".
